Adherence to the Imperial Decrees and Battleworld Code is absolute. All strike teams participating in XPLOITX 2026 must operate with technical rigor, strict ethical adherence, and unyielding tactical honor across all 24 hours of engagement.

  • 01. OPERATIVE ELIGIBILITY

    Open to undergraduate and postgraduate cadets from recognized institutions across all technical disciplines. Cross-college strike teams are fully authorized and encouraged.

  • 02. REGISTRATION GATEWAY

    All operatives must complete official enrollment prior to deadline via the encrypted portal. Team sizes range from single operatives up to 4 members.

  • 03. EVENT ARCHITECTURE

    XploitX 2026 is a 24-Hour National-Level Cybersecurity Capture The Flag (CTF) simulation. Continuous presence, schedule compliance, and prompt flag submissions are mandatory.

MALWARE ANALYSIS

REVERSE ENGINEERING
  • Analyze only provided sandbox binary samples.
  • STRICT ISOLATION: Executing malware outside the isolated sandbox environment is prohibited.
  • Network access may be restricted per challenge protocol.
  • WARNING: Sample execution on host network results in immediate disqualification.

SECURE CODE & VAPT

AUDITING & AUDIT DEFENSE
  • Utilize strictly authorized penetration techniques.
  • Audit and patch only designated application targets.
  • FORBIDDEN: Targeting production infrastructure outside target ranges is strictly banned.
  • Document vulnerability PoCs clearly within allotted time windows.

OSINT INTELLIGENCE

OPEN SOURCE INTEL
  • Leverage open, publicly available intelligence feeds.
  • NO IMPERSONATION: Doxxing, harassment, or social engineering real individuals is strictly forbidden.
  • Non-public account breaches or illegal access techniques are prohibited.
  • Accuracy, evidence verification, and analytical rigor determine score multiplier.

24-HOUR CTF BATTLEFIELD

MAIN COMPETITION TRACK
  • Flags must be independently solved by enrolled strike teams.
  • ZERO SHARING: Flag or solution sharing across teams yields immediate double disqualification.
  • DoS/DDoS attacks on scoring infrastructure are strictly forbidden.
  • Organizing committee scoring and flag verification decisions are final.

NETWORK DEFENSE

BLUE TEAM PROTOCOL
  • Harden assigned network segments against active Red Team simulations.
  • DEFENSE ONLY: Tampering with rival team network nodes or sensors is strictly prohibited.
  • Prioritize real-time monitoring, threat detection, and swift incident mitigation.
  • SIEM log explanations and root cause analysis documents are required for points.

PAPER PRESENTATION

RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM
  • Research submissions must be ORIGINAL and plagiarism-free.
  • Core domains: Offensive Security, AI in Cyber Defense, Forensics, and Cryptography.
  • Strictly adhere to presentation time limits and jury Q&A sessions.
  • Jury panel recommendations and scoring criteria are binding.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Ethical hacking principles and standard codes of conduct must be observed at all times.

ZERO TOLERANCE: Any form of harassment, malicious interference, or unsportsmanlike behavior will cause instant disqualification.

Treat fellow operatives, volunteer staff, and judicial panels with absolute professionalism and respect.

Substance use, contraband, or disruptive behavior on campus grounds is strictly prohibited.
